My TvZ style that has actually given me a bit of success agains the current zerg metagame (slightly unrefined) Warning: Micro Intensive

So this is a build of my own creation and the basic concept is MMM with blue flame hellions mixed in while on 3 bases then as you take your fourth use all the extra gas into Raven, Thor, bf hellion, viking. I think mixing in ghost might be a good idea but I haven't refined it enough to really figure that out yet. Here are my last three tvz games where I use this style. This build is my own creation so refining is definitely needed to play it at grandmaster level. I hope you guys like and can have some success with it. Feel free to ask questions in the comments and I'll answer them.

Basic Build order (I don't rely on supply numbers because it is better to understand gas timings in case your economy is messed with in the early game):

  1. 16 cc into double gas (Depot before double gases):

  2. Reactor hellion follow up

  3. 2 more raxes as fact is building (delay depot so you have enough minerals for 2 hellions)

  4. After rax finishes reactor lift it off and immediately make a tech lab

  5. Start 2 hellions then your next depot

  6. Lift fact and switch it with tech lab rax and start blue flame upgrade

  7. Tech lab and reactor on you extra raxes as well as engineering bay

  8. Pump constant marines and hellions from all production and start stim and +1 attack

  9. make a starport after stim and +1

  10. When blue flame finishes switch the fact with a reactor rax and start combat shields as soon as rax lands on tech lab

  11. start conc shells after stim finishes and push out once your first medivac pops out

  12. From there start a third base and go up to 7 rax (4 reactor, 3 tech lab)

  13. Add on a couple more raxes here and there and once you are ready to take a third add on 2 factories and 2 starports

  14. Constant thor and raven production for the late game and just play it out

  15. If broodlords go up to 4 ports (2 reactor, 2 tech lab)

  16. Micro your ass off and drop everywhere because your army is ridiculously mobile

Note:

If your micro is not great I would not recommend this style but if you can pull it off it feels like a great style to get to the late game and force zergs to multitask.

This style is completely unrefined so you should definitely try to perfect your own builds for it if you like it (I literally made this build up yesterday but I had instant success with it)

If your opponent is going muta go for way more marine production than marauders.

I heard MVPdream plays a similar style so he may have some refined builds if you can find some recent replays of his. I think I will look into that later.

I hope it helps your tvz, they're always saying we need to innovate ;)
