Is this classic dodging?

So i was friends with this girl at uni and switched schools. I didnt really talk to her for a solid couple of months and was trying to catch up with her. I am interested in two of her friends but Im not sure if she remembers that- probably does... Anyway I keep trying to pin her down to sit down and catch up with me and get a "later on this week" response. Just recently she sent a "gotta go but will talk soon message". Ha as im typing this out im realizing the answer is that it is indeed classic dodging. Confirmation on this would be nice or maybe ways around it? If I should just abandon it that isnt a problem either
