Almost got mugged by Indians in 7Eleven yesterday.

So I arrived to Hong Kong a few days ago with my girlfriend from the US. We arrived late and was hungry, so we decided to go down the streets of Yuen Long to find food. Luckily, we found a 7Eleven and picked up some cup noodles.

As we were checking out at the cashier, 3 fairly muscular Indian dudes walked in and were clearly intoxicated. We tried to mind our own business, but as we were walking out, one of them stood in our way and blocked the path. We got around him and he started laughing with his friends. As we were walking back, we felt their presence from behind and we starting panicking

Literally as we were crossing the street, we heard them scream something that neither of us couldn't understand, and the next thing we knew, there was another guy who was probably their friend; right across the street, coming towards us. Luckily, he was not very sober either and we managed to jet pass him and raced back to our hotel. What the f*ck?! We just got to Hong Kong and this happened to us? Were we just being stupid for going down the streets at 2am to grab stuff to eat or is it that dangerous at night?

TL;DR: First HK trip ever. Got there late at night. Went to 7Eleven to grab some food and almost got mugged by a group of drunk muscular Indian dudes.
