Battlefield 3 sound not working?

Every time I open a game of battlefield 3 the game just doesn't play any sound. I have had it since the release and it just recently started doing this... Like a week ago. I have gone into my sound mixer and its full volume but still no sound. I also have made sure it's up in-game too. Any help?
