Regular vs. Premium grade fuel, what are your thoughts?

I was talking about this with my uncle earlier, and it got me wondering whether it's worth using premium grade fuel or if anyone has any particular fueling styles. He said for every 10 times he fills his scooter up, he probably uses premium fuel once, which I found to be an odd but interesting routine. Any thoughts/comments?
