help choosing audio monitors

I'd like to buy a set of studio monitors somewhere around 500 EUR (~ US $650).

I'm thinking about a pair of M-Audio Studiophile DSM2 ( active, 180W, class D, nearfield); has anyone used or had experience with them?

The price includes shipping in the European Union.
