This happened to me in the not so distant past...

Not more than a day ago, my dad asked me to wash the dishes.(This story isn't very scary, but it almsot stopped my heart.) We have a very old pair of dishwashing gloves that gather dust in the 11 hours they aren't used. As I insert my hand into one, I feel an obstuction in the pointer finger. I turn the glove upside down, and, with a sudden shake, release a large spider curled into a ball. I then realize: I could have died, for this was a brown widow, which I believe are just as toxic as a black widow. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
