Indoor Plants

Hey everybody, I would like to get some plants for my apartment. I want nice indoor plants that do not require a lot of maintenance. I figured I would go right to the botany folks. So far I am thinking: snake plants or zz plants. Any tips would be fantastic. Thanks!
