Mods not registering.

Trying to Mod TL1 (on a Mac, so no HotSpot), I know where to install them and what to do but when I start up the game there are no changes. I've tried Jarchos Class Mod, and Gender Mod but nothing happens, but I do get the red text on the Title Screen saying there are mods installed.

Any Ideas?

EDIT: I have done some searching, trying to find threads on the steam, runic and the torchlight fan site, I have found that not all mods work on an Apple. I will get the links and add them to another edit. Main reason seems to be that macs dont like the .imageset files, im sure its a bit more than that but ill be back with more info.
