Hello Australia: Origin/Cuntry Energy are charging me 15+ units a day for electricity. Does that sound normal?

I live alone in a flat with:

  • a bar fridge - seals OK

  • PC (celeron) - yep celeron w/ 17" LCD.

  • stereo - 40W amp , two speakers

  • hot water heater.

  • monster tv, used rarely

  • an easy cook convection oven, used almost daily

  • 1 stovetop element, used almost daily.

The reason I ask is because a friend of mine with three children (boys) , a massive fridge freezer (to the ceiling), tvs and computers and ipads and iphones out the wazoo, etc, etc - gets billed similar units/day.

So I need to double-check on typical daily unit usage with others before I go totally apeshit.

Thank you .
