Finally gave up on my first build. This game does get easier!

I started with a knight build. I got as far as OaS and just kept getting my ass kicked. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong/how to perfect it.

I gave up, made a new wanderer build. I'm happy as shit now. Finally a character with great mobility! I finally see where people are coming from in terms of dress your characters light. The objective is not to protect yourself when hit, it's to not get hit in the first place! I'm now rocking 3 rolling souls and have 5 in the bank. I killed the Asylum Monster and Taurus Demon in the first kick and about to woop Asylum Demon pt 2 then I'm planning on either the Gargoyles or Titanite Demon. It's like a whole new world opened up. A world of being able to actually parry and backstab like a mofo because I can move that much quicker. I'm happy wearing a bedsheet and using a Scimitar. I'm SL17 and I'm already having more success then I did at SL60. Yes, it's taking longer to kill the more powerful baddies but they're easier to handle than trying to tank through everything.
