I'm unemployed, how can I make can I use my free time to be productive and make some money?

So I'm unemployed and I need to make some money, I've already picked up some items from charity shops, or car boot sales and intend to sell them on eBay. I've previously tried Amazon's mechanical turk but since I'm in the UK transferring funds is impossible to a British account.

What other suggestions would you have for me or others in my situation trying to bring in a few extra pounds.
