[repair] My FM transmitter only has full functionality when I make skin-to-case contact.

It had been working just fine for the past two years and then suddenly about a week ago it started to turn up the suck. The bass comes through just fine, but for whatever reason, it seems like it needs to "charge up" the remaining frequencies to get them to their full potential by my hand making contact with it.

I've taken it apart to make sure there are no loose/missing components and to determine if the jack is making good contact with the audio plug (it is).

Here's how I can get a clear signal for all audio frequencies. It isn't necessary to have the case off, it was just off at the time.

And here's distance at which the medium and high frequencies become dull. By that I mean that if my hand was previously contacting the transmitter, I can move it about half an inch away and everything will still be fine. After that point the problem arises. Interestingly, moving my hand back within the half inch range doesn't bring back the sound quality. Instead, I need to once again make contact, which is why it feels like my hand is necessary to "charge up" some of the frequencies.

So, any ideas?
