TwentyElevenTheme Background colors

I want to make a theme which has the links at the top, and at the same time the background flows throughout the pages. What I mean by that is I can use a background image that would be there for the background, the body and the main page.

Twenty Eleven theme has a background color, a page color, than another one for the header. I want to use a design which can flow trhoughout the page.

I used some example websites which look ideal for what I want to do. Thanks
