[Build Help] Upgrading advice from i5-750

First post; thinking about doing some upgrades. I was planning on just upgrading my motherboard to one with SATA3 to take better advantage of my SSD but everything I can find that will take the i5-750 costs about the same as a new Z77 motherboard. Should I just take the leap into a new i5-3570K/motherboard? Anything else that would be better to upgrade first?
