Any advice for beginning to try and run with my 9 month old?

She's a huskey/lab mix and will be 9 months old (60 lbs) at the end of this month! Problem is, she throws little tantrums whenever I try and run with her. She will grab the leash and shake the crap out of it until I scold her and I have no idea how to prevent her from doing that. I usually walk her with a harness and I've heard those head-leashes (Halty's?) are great to get dogs to stop pulling, but I was wondering if there are any tricks to trying to train my dog to run with me and not throw tantrums? Any tips on what kind of leash/harness/whatever to get?

I should also point out this is my first dog that I've had to raise so...honestly any input would be appreciated. I've heard Husky mixes can be...dramatic shall we say?
