Is anyone else scared of storing things on the internet because everything might get wiped out if servers crash?

I see everyone using Dropbox or their email as a place to keep valuable information, but I think if I start doing it, I might lose everything in a freak accident. Maybe it's just me living in the past, but I feel much more secure knowing its on my computer or in my hands.
