THERE'S SOMEONE IN MY HOUSE!

Okay, my fellow Redditors. I am officially freaked out and amused at myself right now. I had just arrived home from Applebee's and climbed up my basement stairs, when I heard heavy breathing coming from my brother's room. I quickly shut the door, thinking there was an intruder in my house. I ran outside and checked my front and back doors to see if there had been forced intry. Both doors were locked, but I still wasn't assured. I grabbed a baseball bat from the basement and slowly crept up the basement stairs. After opening the door and quietly checking every inch of my house besides my brother's room, I decided it was time to bust some heads. I karate kicked the door and ran in screaming, only to find an empty room. And guess what? The "breathing" was coming from a video game that had been left on. A tired character sat on screen making the same breathing sounds I had just heard. And now I feel like an idiot, my foot hurts (from kicking the door in), and I have to pay for a new door frame. Thanks alot brother and video game.
