Today: 698 words

I finished the scene that I've been leaving hanging for the last number of days. It took a pretty different turn from what I'd started out thinking, but it works well to fill in some details in the story line and gives my third POV a subplot. I have a better idea of how to restructure the next part of the story now as well, but unfortunately, it doesn't work as well on further reflection. I'll have to play around with it and see if I can find an in on this particular conversation that works with story's limitations; otherwise, it'll have to be abandoned and the information presented elsewhere.
