Help using a CP2102 USB to upload to an breadboarded Arduino

Sorry if this isn't posted in the right area, but I'm having trouble using a cheap Chinese USB to TIL adapter I got off Ebay to load a bread boarded Arduino:

After a little Googling it seems like the issue is with resetting the Arduino to start the bootloader before the firmware upload. Any idea how to do this on this board?

BTW I paid less than $3 for the adapter, not $52.82. Looks like a typo. Hope no one buys one at that price!
