Adults only screenings of kid's movies
My wife and I went to see Brave today. Last weekend we saw Madagascar 3. Both movies were enjoyable, but the parents were just not able to parent their children. Kids were yelling, running around, and just being kids. I don't want to begrudge them anything because we're on their turf.
So I was thinking that with today's mainstream kid's movies being just as much for the adult as for the kid (the stuff from Pixar and Dreamworks at least), movie theatres should have one screening every day that is 18 and over.
To be fair, some of the adults in Brave were worse than the kids, but I think this would eliminate the little ones who don't know any better. I have no problem asking a manager to kick an adult out for being to loud.
