Me and my son are stuck in a house with no food

Me and my son just moved in with my brother and he has left for the weekend with his wife. I just moved here from across the country (Chicago, Il, to San Diego Ca) so I havn't even had a chance to get a job yet. Soo..... knowing I have no money and no means on transportation my wonderfully gracious brother of mine has left me in his home with no food for me and my 4 year old son over the weekend. I'm honestly not sure what I can offer for someone's kindness but i'll gladly take suggestions. pretty pretty please :(
