Starting keto in the morning. Most of my questions have been answered except one relating to exercise?

Hi, everyone! I've been lurking here for a while and today I discussed it with my boyfriend and we will be starting keto in the morning! I think I know what to eat, but I did have a question about exercising while on keto? I've looked but I haven't necessarily found a satisfactory answer through searching r/keto.

Is it OK to still do cardio while I do keto? Even if it won't add to my weight loss, I would really just be doing it for my overall health. I just want to make sure its still actually SAFE to be doing cardio.

I'm female, 5'5, ~250 lbs. I do belong to a gym and work out occasionally. My heart rate runs really high, I would say in a 30 minute cardio session that my hr averages 175-180 (I've seen a dr about this and she didn't seem particularly concerned. She did a heart ultrasound and some other tests and said I was fine.) In the past month or so I've been trying to get to the gym 3 times per week but in reality its definitely 1-2 times per week. Also, I doubt its relevant to exercising but I also have PCOS (this is my main reason for starting keto, the medicine I am on causes me serious "issues" when I eat carbs, and I really need to get my weight under control to avoid type II diabetes since I'm already insulin-resistant).

Also, since I'm just starting if anyone just wants to give me advice on keto in general I'd be open to that :-) Thanks everyone!

Edit: Thanks everyone for your responses. It seems like some people were against exercising on keto so I just wanted to make sure it would be OK!
