Voice recording setup

I'm thinking about spending around 1000 EUR (~ $1300 US, shipping to European Union) on a voice recording setup. My current picks are the [RØDE NTK] (http://www.rodemic.com/mics/ntk) and an ART VoiceChannel; anyone have any experience with these or some suggestions for better gear?
