How does Reddit feel about Title IX?

With ESPN currently honoring Title IX, I wanted to ask Reddit a question. As a current collegiate wrestler I have seen more than my fair share of wrestling programs cut due to Title IX. I am all about giving female student athletes a chance to compete, but cutting a college athletic program just because there is one more male sport offered than a female sport is ludicrous. I am not ignorant to the fact that wrestling does not bring in the big bucks like sports such as football and basketball but large D1 schools, the SEC for example, do not have a wrestling program because it wouldn't balance the male/female sports. Although Title IX did do some great things for amateur sports I still think it needs reform. How do you feel about Title IX?
