Footsteps in the finale

No spoilers here - just an observation on an otherwise cool finale.

The sound effects of the characters' footsteps were super obtrusive, especially during the first half of the finale. At some points I couldn't focus on what was going on because it was just clop clop clop clop clop.

Is it just me? Did anyone else notice this?
