Hey, /r/Soccer. As an American, what's the best way to watch European club football?

Title is pretty self explanatory. I've gotten really in to the Euro 2012 action and want to expand my viewership of European soccer but I have no idea how to do it. In fact, I don't even know when a lot of the club leagues' seasons start. When is the standard season for Soccer in Europe, like the Premier League, La Liga or even Bundesliga? I heard about these epic Champions League matches (Like the Chelsea vs Bayern Munich this season) but I didn't even know it was on because I would have surely watched it. The main problem I have is I don't have cable. Are there any offerings for a paid monthly subscription package for online streaming? In the States we have things like MLB.tv which is $24/month USD to watch all of the Major League Baseball games. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
