Need some advice on a new gaming mouse

This has been asked before but everything I found was at least a year old, so I thought I may as well ask again.

I'm an owner of the Sidewinder X8 and it's a great mouse but after two years of use, it's beginning to die on me. Middle click is failing, and the charger is incredibly annoying to connect. However, I'm too used to wireless mice these days. So what wireless gaming mouse does Reddit suggest? I was considering the Steelseries wireless mouse which is basically a cheaper and better looking version of the new Razer Taipan. But does anyone else have feedback? Also please don't recommend a wired mouse, I can't go back to those.

In addition, is there like a gaming q&a subreddit? Didn't find anything myself.
