God at the Olympic trials.
So I might be the only one watching the track and field Olympic trials on TV right now but....
A lot of the winners/qualifiers have been thanking God and saying God had a plan for them to win yaddah yaddah. I'm used to it, it doesn't peeve me like it used to you know with the "oh god had a plan for your race or game today but what about the poor starving kids with cancer and aids". Yeah over that, not worth fretting about IMO.
I was just thinking, wouldn't it be great if someone came up at the end of the race and talked about how the FSM had a plan for them and his noodles watched over them as they competed.
Then I thought, hey how would the stereo typical Christian American fans at home react if one or some of the athletes came out thanking Allah or some other theological (more respected than the FSM) deity?
