Need a quick simple code.

I need just a simple script that enters "j", pauses for 1.5 seconds, enters "a", pauses for another 1.5 seconds, then repeats. And by enters "j" and "a" i mean a device forced key stroke, not just the print function. For the very little i know there aren't any linux based modules (this will be running on linux) such as SendKeys in windows and this would require another package.
