Suggested success scale for the DLC
I'm sure everyone has a different mind about things, but personally I hate when people claim something is good/awful by changing their minds about what is "Good" or "Bad" as they experience it.
Here is my personal scale for Bioware Success, feel free to copy:
FAILS MISERABLY The DLC makes the ending worse. It introduces new characters we haven't seen, or the explanation is even more convoluted. The scenes are even more poorly put together
FAILS Purple or "Yellow" endings added, with no real additional content... yes purple takes up 1.9 GB.
Meets Expectation I come away at least understanding what they were trying to do in the original ending. This is their stated goal, and that is what I expect.
That was nice Meets expectation and crew member stories/progress shown
Impress me Indoctrination theory, Dinosaurs, blue babies, etc. are shown. It's clear they were listening to fans.
Oh Wow Scenes during the final battle including your LI, the dinosaurs, the war assets, etc.
Slow Clap Additional options and game play
Exceeds expectation New conversations with the star child that actually make sense.
VICTORY Star child is gone and the ending is different
Should we hit "Slow Clap" or above, I will be buying all the DLC and dragon age games the same day.
