Help with getting my guitar to work with ableton

I'm a complete beginner (assume the worst), I'm able to use guitar rig I just haven't figured Ableton out yet. I use a behringer ucg 102, my speakers are connected to the headphones on the interface and behringer is set as the default speaker. I've tried the tutorial on ableton but still haven't been successful.
