Athletes thanking god.

I just watched the Olympic trials for the US today and in almost every post race interview the athletes were thanking god. They were only thanking god. They didn't thank their coaches or parents for their support. They didn't even talk about how hard they worked. All they talked about was how hard they prayed and how good god is. This wasn't every athlete mind you, but still a good amount. Now I compete in track and field collegiality and to think that they didn't thank their coaches or credit their hard work for their accomplishments is beyond me. I just don't understand how someone can work so hard for something it give all the credit to some man in the sky. I just had to come here and vent. I couldn't post anything like this on facebook or twitter because I would be defriended and lose followers. I needed to write my frustration and I feel better now. It just makes me so mad that "god" gets credit for everything good that happens to people.
