What's the stupidest thing you have heard from a pet owner?

I shared a flat with a guy that owned a blue tortoise shell cat.

They stated that we must never feed it any tidbits and that we must refuse to give it any milk that wasn't organic.

I had to question this since it boggled my mind that a cat could either know the difference or be affected by the difference.

I was sure that if you starved that cat long enough it would eat your face when you died so this was something they were enforcing on their cat due to their own life choices.

I used to give to give it chicken tikka and chocolate milk behind it's owner's back and it cried when I moved out that flat.
