[TOMT] [movie] Horror-esque movie I saw in ~2000.

I recall seeing a movie with my uncle and mom on TV (not sure if it was a tv movie, or a feature film) which was about to kids who were orphaned when their parents were killed in a car wreck, which the kids starred in. They were taken in by some people who, I think, had a fairly large house. IIRC, they started to investigate their parents' death, and at one point actually saw the car they were killed in. It ended with the girl waking up next to the mother in bed, who was dead. The two kids then took a car, and apparently ran over the dad. It kind of disturbed me as a kid, it'd be nice to know what I watched, thanks!
