I (20) found a girl (21) on OkCupid, but she lives about an hour away....

So as per the title, I (20M) met a nice girl (21) and we're hitting it off really well so far. She's definitely interested in me (its pretty obvious, she gave me her number w/o me asking, etc.), and I her. However, I have never dated anyone before - though I wouldn't say that I don't know what I'm doing. We've been texting quite a bit today and I want to take her on a date, but there's a catch. I live in a big city, and she in a small one about an hour away. I was thinking an ice cream date would be nice for a first date, but I don't think there are any in her town or in an easy distance (though there may be one halfway between us).

I don't want to make her drive if I ask her - just seems inconsiderate to me. I don't mind driving to her either, but I also don't know what we'd do there. What would you recommend I do? I've debated asking her what she'd want to do, but I don't know if that's 'kosher' or not. Also, deciding when I should actually ask her out is another thing.... Thanks in advance for any advice!
