Nether Portal Nightmare

After getting my previous death ban appealed I spawned into the server to start again, and the first thing I noticed was that I was without a fishing rod. As I tried to run back to my base without food or a means of getting it I stumbled upon a ruined base and went exploring. Inside the base I was lucky enough to find some watermelon and a wooden sword. With my hunger satisfied for the moment I dwelved deeper into the depths of the base and stumbled upon a nether gate. I decided I would pop in and see what was on the inside.

When I went through I got lost. Horribly horribly lost. So lost that I got turned around and entered a nether portal to 242's base twice, both times being trapped inside helplessly. Finally I found what I thought was my entrance portal and went through, but instead I found myself trapped once again, but this time in Watchmen's base. Their nether portal was set up so that once you entered you could not leave as there was no room to move off of the portal block and back on to teleport. Their whole team gathered by a glass wall to watch my struggles until with a coldness in their eyes one of them stepped forward onto a pressure plate, launching poison (I think?) at me from a dispenser. With my health quickly dropping I said my farewells until suddenly a stroke of luck! They had decided that killing me with poison wasn't fast enough and had opened up the glass wall to come finish me off themselves! Little did they know I still had 45 minutes of pvp protection left. I took my chance without hesitation, running forward and then backwards into the portal, the poison fading away with three hearts to spare.

Then a pigman killed me. Three days!
