My crazy longboard story! Post your crazy longboard experiences in the comments.

Today my friend and I wre cruising around on the bay trail behind downtown. The trail is seven feet high from the water and has metal railings along it so people don't falling. So we were cruising along there and I started dancing on my longboard when I hit a huge bump. I feel off my board and the force from my foot knocked it off the trail into the water. It was a seven foot drop into deep water. My friend and I looked at each other in disbelief. We ran to the edge of the path to see my board floating in the water. The wall was to high for me to reach down and get it so I had to go in. I quickly took off my shirt and shoes and climbed over the railing and slide down the cement wall. I landed on some rocks so I was only thigh deep in water. I grabbed my board and passed it to my friend. I hoped it wasn't water logged. Anyway now I was trying to find a way out. The wall was seven feet high and I couldnt grab onto the edge of the side walk because it was really sharp and I would not have leverage to pull myself up. But if I could just get hoold of one of the railings I could get enough grip to Pull myself up. I asked my friend if he could pull me that high but he's not very strong so he said no. We just looked at each other. I could only see his head from my angle. Then out of knowhere a random hippie looking guy pops his head over the ledge beside my friend. He asks me in the most stoned voice if I got my board. I said yeah and he told me that I have great dedication. He said I could climb out using the cobblestone wall down the path. But I would have to swim to get there. I asked if. He could just pull me high enough that I could grab the bar. He gave me his and and pulled me to the bar and I climbed out. I put my clothes on and looked at the damaged board. Then I looked back to than the hippie but he had disappeared. I sat on a bench with my friend and we left my board in the sun to dry out. Luckily it was my cheap board. After it dried anti it seemed to work fine. We kept going down the path and say the hippie fishing off the ledge. I road by and thanked him for pulling me out. He said "no problem maaaan anytime" then he said "is the board ok" I told him it was fine and said bye and stuff. It is the craziest thing that has ever happened to me boarding (other than my board being run over by a car) I don't know if this story will be as cool for you but I thought it was worth a share. Tell my your crazy longboard story.
