I recently acquired this, and hope that a collector might be able to assist in identifying it....

My mother was clearing out some stuff, and wanted to get rid of this small revolver. It is like a deringer style, with a fold up trigger. I did some googling on the web, and the closest i could find was from a Belgian manufacturer, roughly 1860-1870. Apparenty, similar pistols were brought to NA during the civil war. Thats all i know! Anyways, i hope this is the correct subreddit to post this. If not, let me know....

I am hoping someone knowledgable of this type of gun might be able to identify it. The metal is quite pitted, and there are no markings visible. The wood handle is amazingly intact.
