Have you ever been in a fight? What was the outcome?

I pose this questions because of the thread about the "Harshest Advice from your parents". In that thread i noticed that a lot of people received advice that was either about not backing down, defending yourself, and simply fighting dirty if need be.

Now i know from personal experience that this most likely is not good advice cause i did this and almost wound up with a felony on my record.

So Reddit tell me have you been in a fight? What happened? Was the law involved after?
