Problems with a program crashing on Windows 7 64-bit.

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anybody here could help me out a bit here. I'm having problems trying to run the program linked above, I'm sure that my OS isn't the problem, because one of my friends, as well as many other people online have confirmed that it works just fine in Windows 7 64-bit.

I've tried running it as administrator, but it didn't help, I've also tried every compatibility mode available but that also didn't help.

My best guess is that there might be some kind of drivers or runtimes that I'm missing which the program uses, but I'm not sure how to figure out what they might be as the website and the readme for the program make no mention of any necessary drivers or runtimes.
