What is your favorite non traditional drink or shot to order at a bar?

I am going to a bar in a few hours and want some new drinks/shots to order. The bartender I go to is really cool and always interested in making new drinks and I want some fun ones to experiment with that are beyond your typical jack and coke or sex on the beach type drinks. Any suggestions?
