AH times/bids wonky?

I don't usually bid for items, just buy out what I want. But I saw an item with a normal buyout and a really low bid. I figured what the hell I'll give it a shot.

I tried unsuccessfully 10 or 12 times to place a bid, it kept saying that my bid was too low (the gold was taken out every attempt, though, and given back to me on the "completed" tab as "outbid"). I kept refreshing the page and even closed/reopened the AH to search for it again. The bid was something like 9k. I eventually manually entered 30k and it accepted the bid.

Subsequent searches showed the item to have a "current bid" of less than my 30k, and the current bid kept increasing every so often but my "auctions" tab still showed I was "winning."

I figured it was just a hot item and refreshing wasn't keeping up with the bids or something, calculated when the auction should've been over (tonight at 10:02pm), and went on with my life.

I checked it every so often today so I could be bidding in the last 1m but the times were different - off by about 12 hours. I saw it again and again today and recalculated the time to 10am tomorrow, figuring I must've just been off by 12 hours originally. No biggie, right?

It's after my original calculation now, and the item is still listed in my auctions tab with 12h11m remaining, "not winning," my bid of 52,500 (wtf?) current bid of 0, buyout of N/A, and if I try to bid (0 gold) it says the amount is equal to the buyout and I should buy it out, but the item is "no longer available."

I haven't seen anyone else talking about this issue, just wondering if it's some weird fluke or if anyone else has been experiencing it.
