Having religion shoved down your throat
Before I say anything, I'm a Christian. Not a die-hard Christian: I support gay marriage, don't care if you believe or not, etc.
My Mormon grandparents had their church officials over tonight for dinner. It went pretty well, until they got to their Bible discussion. It basically turned into them trying to get me to convert to their religion, even after I specifically told them I wasn't interested. The things these people told me made me angry. I respected their religion by listening, why didn't they respect mine by not continuing a conversation I wanted to end?
It gave me new light on others who are subjected to this. Even though I didn't try and push my religion on others before, I have new respect for the beliefs of others...
