road tripping from Los Angeles to Vancouverin two weeks. must see stops?

Me and my girlfriend. .or is it my girlfriend and I... Well, were taking a road trip from LA to Vancouver in two weeks. We would love the input from the hive mind on must see stops. Info on us. Were late twenties to mid thirties couple like underground obscure weird and unusual things. Also like drinking and partying. Were planning on camping in tent and camping in car when were in the big cities and getting hotels when needed. (please excuse missplellings and grammar in doing this on my phone )
