Please tell me what you think of this laptop?

Hey everyone, My HP Dv6's mother board crapped out so I am getting a new one. My pops gave me a a price range under 800-700. I saw this one and really liked it. I play some games, nothing intense, mostly school work and files, music etc.. Let me know what you think and if this laptop will last me a good while. My last laptop, (HP DV6) crapped out after 1 year!
