[Troubleshooting] Urgent Help Needed

I am using an ASRock 970 Extreme3 mobo, AMD FX 8120 processor and a XFX Radeon HD 6870 graphics card and am getting 5 beeps at startup. I researched this and it means that no VGA card is detected, however, my card runs (fans are spinning), and my monitor does not report an absent connection. All I can say is... help?
