My cousin just told me that he doesn't feel badly for starving children in third world countries, because it is their fault that they have to live that way. What is the most ignorant and ridiculous thing that you have ever heard?

I still can't believe he said that. He was totally serious, and there was no convincing him otherwise. I can't believe that people actually think like that. To tell an innocent child that their circumstances that are beyond their control are their fault. Please tell me there aren't other people out there like that.
