Females Y U NO like good guys?

So to introduce my self I am a 22 year old guy with his head on his shoulders. I have a very good paying job, my own apartment, a brand new car and even a cat. I have an education and i would classify myself as a nice guy. I'm told all the time that I am an attractive successful guy who should e beating the girls off with a stick. And yet through all this there never seems to be any interest at all. They would rather be friends or won't even give me the time of day.

To top it off I have a buddy of mine who is a skinny punk rocker who just got out of jail, finally just got a job, used to be a dealer, has no vehicle and lives at his grandmas house. With all this he has females all over him. To the point he could have a new one each week if he really wanted to.

I don't understand this at all.

I know females like the "bad boy" image but really to this extent? And when it doesn't work every time without fail they will post or say something along the lines of "is there no good guys left in this world"... Wtf females!!! You as a gender have some explaining to do :)
