Has anybody taken a "Star Trek" class at a University?

My local Uni offers an ST class (mainly for Freshman seminars but you can take it by itself). Turns out the main librarian of the college is the professor of the class and in her office is a bunch of Star Trek (mainly TNG) stuff on her walls and such.

tl;dr = What, when, how is it if you taken an ST class before at a University?
